Elegant Embossed Card

Yes, you guessed it... another trade for convention!  After using the new embossing folder "Elegant Bouquet" on the Banana card stock, I used my Rich Razzleberry & Old Olive markers (fine tip end) to outline all the textured pattern.  Then, I used the white gel pen to add white highlights to the centers of the flowers.

Tea & Cookie?

By now, you should be figuring out that my posts this week are the trades that I made for our National Convention in Salt Lake City.  We are thrilled to go and learn about new trends, products and ideas that we can bring back and share with you.  This is a 3-D swap I am trading this week.  Inside this box, I have a fortune cookie treat.  What is better than that to enjoy with a cup of green tea.  This photo does not show the crystal effects with which I covered the teapot & handle on top of the box.  It is such a delightful addition to this box top.

The Man Card

My hubby, Iner, wanted to make cards to trade with the other men who are attending convention.  We came up with this card.  He really enjoys hunting through the crowds of women for those straggling guys to trade with.

I really wanted to have some Designer Series Paper that included Dusty Durango, Old Olive & Very Vanilla colors.  Since there is none, I designed my own for this card (a swap for convention).  You can refer to my earlier post here to learn how I stamped the Dusty Durango card stock.
