Here is a new stamp set that is so fabulous for fall cards. It is called Autumn Days.
Here are a couple samples that I made:
The little windows of White card stock are 1 1/4" x 1 3/4". Their mats are 1 1/2" x 2" Soft Suede card stock. I inked the wheat in Crushed Curry and then lightly "thumped" with the Soft Suede marker on the head of the wheat. ("Thumping" is taking your brush tip of the marker and bouncing it on your inked stamp). I then colored the stems with the same marker. I inked the berry stamp in Soft Suede ink pad and colored the berries using the marker.
Supplies: Autumn Days stamp set; Whisper White, Dusty Durango, Soft Suede & Crushed Curry card stock; Dusty Durango, Soft Suede & Crushed Curry Classic ink pads & Stampin' Write® markers; Modern Tag Punch; Autumn Harvest Rub-ons; Vintage Brads - 2 pewter; Big Shot; Movers & Shapers Die; Window Punches M & S Dies; 1/2" Polka Dot grosgrain ribbon - Soft Suede(6"); SNAIL Adhesive; Mini Glue Dots (under brads for good hold)
This card I case'd (copy and share everything) from Lisa Trombitas, a fellow demonstrator. After stamping the wheat in both Crushed Curry and Soft Suede, I stamped the pheasant in Soft Suede onto the Top Note die cut. Then I stamped the pheasant in the same color onto Dusty Durango card stock. I cut out the pheasant and, like Lisa, adhered the body of the pheasant to the card, but left the tail feathers free of adhesive. After cutting out the tail feathers, they just like to fly free. I used markers to sketch in the ground and then sponged the ground and the edges of the Top Note die cut.
